How to Apply
For an iridescent look and to perfect the strobing technique, apply with the Buffer Glow brush following the cheekbone line.
For a natural glow or diffused look use a softer powder brush like Powder Brush and apply over the cheekbones, making a C-shape around the outer eye up to the brow. Other areas to accent are the nose and cupid’s bow.
Make sure skin is dry and any prep products like moisturizers, oils and liquid foundation are absorbed before applying LightSlip Powder Highlighter to avoid natural waxes and oils from hardening.

How to apply highlighter powder?
For an iridescent sheen, apply our highlighter powder with our buffer glow brush, sweeping across the cheekbone. For a more diffused finish, apply highlighter powder with our softer powder brush, stippling the product from the cheekbones to the temples in a C-shape. Blend the highlighter for a natural glow.
Do you put highlighter on before or after powder?
If you’re using a liquid foundation or tinted moisturizer for your base, you should always set it with a face powder before adding any other powder products, including powder highlighter. This will help to ensure your base is ready so your highlighter can be applied smoothly. It will also prevent your highlighter from being diffused or covered with your setting powder if you use the highlighter first.
Where to put highlighter powder on your face?
Highlighter powder can be applied to the high points of your face to draw the eye and lift the face. This includes your cheekbones, your brown bone, the bridge of your nose, and your cupid’s bow. You can also dot some highlighter on the inner corners of the eye for a wide-awake look.
Can you mix powder highlighter with foundation?
You can mix your highlighter with your foundation if you want to add an all round iridescent sheen to your face. However, you should ensure both products are the same formulation. So, you should mix powders with powders, liquids with liquids, etc. You can try mixing our cream highlighter with cream foundation to add extra radiance to your complexion.
Where to apply highlighter to look younger?
When applied to the right areas, highlighter can lift the face and add a youthful glow. You can try adding highlighter to the inner and outer corners of the eye to lift the area, and also along the brow bone. Using highlighter along the cheekbones and up towards the temples will also help to lift the face.
