The Red Edition

Our Red Edition cases are hand-crafted from lightweight, luxury paper and can be used 2-3 times before being recycled or composted.

Spilled on your Red Edition product by accident? If it’s at all damaged, don’t worry. The Red Edition is 100% paper, so if your compact becomes saturated with any product or oil, it can be composted rather than recycled.

The Refill

Refilling your compact is simple; just follow these steps:

  • Open up the compact and turn it face down. You will see a small hole below the label.
  • Using a pin, push through the hole until the used makeup cartridge is dislodged.
  • Insert the new makeup into the compact. The refill carton can be recycled, and your Kjaer Weis makeup is now ready for use.

Our most versatile product. It can be used as a cream foundation for all-over coverage, but also just to conceal blemishes or to enhance and brighten. Perfect for touch-ups on the go, too. A light application gives a sheer veil, whilst a more targeted application can be built up to conceal, perfect and give fuller coverage.

How to Apply

Since this foundation was created without synthetic ingredients, it’s important to apply it to a well-moisturized face for maximum results. Kirsten perfectly formulated The Beautiful Oil and Cream Foundation to work together, using skincare-level ingredients. Apply with fingers or a Foundation Brush.

How do you apply Cream Foundation for a natural finish?

Start by applying The Beautiful Oil and allowing it to absorb for 3 to 4 minutes. Then warm a small amount of Cream Foundation between your fingers or on a brush to activate the waxes and oils. Apply with your fingers for a soft, sheer result, or use the Blush-Foundation Brush to build more coverage. The formula is buildable from a tinted moisturizer finish up to fuller, concealer-like coverage. Blend down the neck to ensure the shade reads naturally in all lighting.

Can Cream Foundation be used on oily or sensitive skin?

Yes. The formula is made with the same quality of Certified Organic skincare ingredients found in high-end skincare, including Jojoba Seed Oil, Sweet Almond Seed Oil, and Coconut Oil, and it applies beautifully across all skin types. For oilier skin, setting with the Pressed Powder helps extend wear and control shine. The formula has also been found to suit sensitive skin and those prone to redness and rosacea.

What is the difference between cream and liquid foundation?

Cream foundation has a richer, more nourishing texture that warms to the skin and delivers a breathable, customizable finish. It is particularly well-suited to skin that benefits from added moisture or a more natural, skin-like result. Liquid foundation tends to be thinner and faster-spreading, with a more uniform finish. The Cream Foundation can be worn as sheer as a tinted moisturizer or built up for more coverage, making it adaptable to different needs.

Can Cream Foundation be used as a concealer?

Yes, and this is one of its strengths. The buildable formula can be patted onto blemishes, redness, or areas of discoloration for targeted coverage. Use the Buffer Concealer Brush for precise application. It also works well as an under-eye concealer and as an eye primer before applying Eye Shadow.
