The Red Edition

Our Red Edition cases are hand-crafted from lightweight, luxury paper and can be used 2-3 times before being recycled or composted.

Spilled on your Red Edition product by accident? If it’s at all damaged, don’t worry. The Red Edition is 100% paper, so if your compact becomes saturated with any product or oil, it can be composted rather than recycled.

The Refill

Refilling your compact is simple; just follow these steps:

  • Open up the compact and turn it face down. You will see a small hole below the label.
  • Using a pin, push through the hole until the used makeup cartridge is dislodged.
  • Insert the new makeup into the compact. The refill carton can be recycled, and your Kjaer Weis makeup is now ready for use.

How To Use

Apply with the warmth of your fingers or a Blush Brush. A little gives a sheer, flushed veil of color; further layers add a more intense, sculpting effect. Blend with a swiping motion, tapping as you go.

Tip: This versatile cream blush can be applied to cheeks, lips and eyes.

The Cream Blushes can be used on the cheeks, lips, and eyes. Cream Blush is much lighter and more hydrating than powder. If you apply too much, simply blend with the warmth of your fingers or the Blush Brush.

How do you apply Cream Blush?

Apply with your fingertips or a Blush Brush. Using your fingers is the easiest approach — the warmth of your hands activates the formula and helps it melt seamlessly into the skin. Sweep and tap onto the apples of the cheeks, blending up and over the cheekbones. With a brush, start at the apples and blend outward, building intensity gradually. If you apply too much, blend with your fingers to soften. The Cream Blush can also be used on the lips and eyes for a coordinated flush of color.

Is cream blush better than powder?

Cream blush delivers a more hydrating, natural-looking result than powder. The formula melts into the skin for a dewy, flushed finish rather than sitting on top of it. It is generally easier to blend and more buildable, giving you better control over intensity, from a barely-there wash to a more sculpted effect.

Is cream blush good for all skin types?

Yes. For dry skin, the hydrating formula adds a healthy flush without emphasizing dry patches. For oilier skin, a light layer of Pressed Powder on top helps extend wear. Cream blush is particularly well-suited to skin that has lost some elasticity or fullness over time, as the formula won't settle into fine lines or look dry the way a powder blush might. The Certified Organic ingredients, including Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, and Rosehip Seed Oil, condition the skin while delivering color.

Can Cream Blush be used on the lips and eyes?

Yes — this is one of the things that makes the formula genuinely versatile. A light swipe on the lips gives a soft, natural flush of color that coordinates with your cheek. On the lids, it functions as a soft wash of color that blends easily. Use a very small amount in both cases and build gradually for the most natural result.
