The Iconic Edition: Polish Me, Please

Like a piece of jewelry, each Kjaer Weis Iconic Edition case is made to be kept and treasured, cultivating an alluring patina with time. To maintain its beauty, polish the exterior regularly with a soft cloth and the interior of the outer casing before inserting a new refill tube and wand. Welcome to certified organic beauty, refreshed. Again, and again, and again.

The Refill

Refill with a fresh formula and brush that you can stack in your Iconic Edition pack. Our refill tube is made of 50% PCR plastic.

Refilling your case is simple; just follow these steps:

Remove the black inner refill tube and wand from the outer case by sliding the cap and base off the tube.
Clean and dispose of the inner tube and wand (made from recycled plastic and nylon).
Take your new refill and slide it into the empty outer case. Recycle the red box and refill packaging. Refill again and again.

How to Apply

Position the wand horizontally, then wiggle from side to side and from base to tip to achieve maximum length and definition. One coat lifts and extends lashes for a natural effect, while additional coats build to create a more dramatic appearance.

Tip: For lashes that are naturally extra straight, use an eyelash curler before application.

How to Remove

We recommend removing mascara with a gentle makeup remover or a cleanser.

Kirsten's Tip

While our Lengthening Mascara is not waterproof, it does pass our “hot yoga test.” Gentle on even the most sensitive eyes, along with all of our eye products.

What does the Kjaer Weis Lengthening Mascara do for the lashes?

The Lengthening Mascara adds length, definition, and a touch of richness to the lashes — enhancing what you have rather than masking it. The specially designed wand grips each lash individually from root to tip, applying just the right amount of formula for a clean, separated, clump-free flutter. Certified Organic Castor Seed Oil and Lavender Flower Oil protect and nourish while you wear it, so lashes feel as good as they look.

What is the proper technique for applying the Lengthening Mascara?

Hold the wand horizontally and wiggle from side to side as you work from the base to the tip of the lashes. One coat lifts and extends for a natural, wide-awake effect; additional coats build to a more defined, dramatic finish. For naturally straight lashes, use an eyelash curler before application. The Cleanser removes it easily; simply include the eye area in your cleansing routine.

Is the Lengthening Mascara gentle enough for sensitive eyes?

It is formulated with sensitive eyes in mind. The Certified Organic formula contains no harsh synthetic ingredients, and Lavender Flower Oil soothes and calms as you wear it. It is gentle enough for contact lens wearers, and while it is not waterproof, it passes the KW hot yoga test, meaning it holds without smudging, even in the most testing conditions.

Will other Kjaer Weis mascara refills fit the Lengthening Mascara case?

The Lengthening Mascara case is compatible with both the Lengthening and Volumizing Mascara refills, so switching between the two is effortless. Please note that the Im-Possible Mascara refill has a different design and does not fit this case.

Best mascara I've ever own!!

Not any better than your average mascara. Plus the tube kept coming apart. Plus customer service left a lot to be desired. Sorry, not for me

I adore this mascara, even more than the impossible mascara. This one keeps the eyelashes nicely combed and separated and it gives them a very natural make up look. Love it

I have been using Kjaer Weis products for a couple of years now. I'm getting to know mascara for the first time. I've been thinking that it's useless to use mascara on my thin lashes, but Kjaer Weis mascara accentuates my lashes beautifully and I really have "lashes" when I wear this mascara.

It’s totally hypoallergenic and my eyes love it ! Just love it. It doesn’t make You a panda even if You will take a nap with Your kid during the day and also it can be easily washed with even water.

natural look that lasts all day long

The lengthening (as well as the volumizing) mascara gives a more natural look, not that much wowow like the Impossible mascara. BUT a real BIG PLUS to me is that it lasts all day and even night long! It does not smudge at all, neither crumble! and it has a wonderful smooth and light cosistency. And when I layer it it comes pretty near to the wowow effect of the Impossible mascara :sparkling_heart:.

Natural, not clumpy

I have zero complaints about this mascara. I tend to prefer a natural look and clumping drives me nuts. This is usually bad news for me because my eyelashes are pretty unruly and tend to criss cross in a few places. All in all this mascara just gave definition and length without giving me clumpy tarantula eyes. I've worn it on my bottom lashes without getting raccoon rings late in the day. I'm impressed! (it also held up to some watery eyes after putting contacts in, as well as to some tears...you know, because I was cutting onions)

Almost perfect!

Let me start by saying, I love this mascara! The way it applies and the pretty natural lash look it gives me is hard to replicate with other clean mascaras. Does not clump or run on me and washes off easily with face wash and warm water. My only issue or complaint (hence the 4 stars) is the silver tube does not stay on the refill. The case comes off on the top all the time. Annoying, especially for the price of this.

My perfect mascara by far!

I have tried all of Kjaer Weis mascaras and this is the one that is my favorite by far. It is the most natural looking, and for ease of removal its can't be beat!

It has a lovely smell, and wears nice. Does not really lengthen. I’m glad a tried it, and will use til it’s gone, but probably won’t purchase again.

A makeup bag gem

Perfectly clean lashes with this mascara. I love that it's not thick or sticky and just glides on leaving a dark tint that looks natural. I have sensitive eyes and had no reaction to the mascara. A real gem.

Sustainable, decent mascara

I love the idea behind this being a refillable mascara. Can’t complain about the results, as it looks almost exactly like the pictures. I do wish it made lashes much more full. If I do a bunch of layers though it gets there!

I was looking for a sustainable, high quality, organic mascara and came across the reviews for the Lengthening Mascara from Kjaer Weis. While it is more expensive than others on the market, it is well worth the price. I am super happy with the formula, it goes on smoothly with no clumps and it is super light for during the day and can easily transition from day to night events. I love that there is the option for refill and the iconic container is reusable. Highly recommend and cannot wait to try other products.

The best mascara I have ever used.

Seems to have little noticeable

Seems to have little noticeable effect. Doesn’t darken much, doesn’t fill out the eye line. Don’t notice any curl or length added. I do love the refillable packaging, though!

The packaging is what I want to to talk about - so cute and little and does not roll!

Unfortunately Fragranced.

I actually really like the formula of this mascara, as well as the applicator, which is sad because I really want to like it. Unfortunately they added the same horrible powder floral fragrance to the mascara that they did to the liquid foundation, which I had to throw out because it broke me out horribly. Unfortunately, because I am allergic to the fragrance, the mascara ended up breaking me out too. "Natural" or not, fragrance is entirely unnecessary, and unwelcome in the community this brand is marketing to. Please, for the love of "clean beauty", stop putting unnecessary fragrance in your makeup. And really, who wants their eyelashes to smell good? The fragrance smells awful anyway. There goes another $30 down the drain (of course I purchase the iconic edition :( )

I am very disappointed with this mascara. Not easy to apply and not lengthening.
Besides that, I was disappointed to learn that the brand uses ingredients that is allergenic.
