How do you clean the Kjaer Weis brushes?

Use a natural brush cleanser or a gentle natural soap or shampoo, and cleanse once a week to prevent bacteria buildup and keep the bristles performing at their best. Rinse thoroughly, then lay the brushes flat on a cloth to dry overnight. Make sure water does not get into the ferrule during cleaning.

What are the Kjaer Weis brushes made of?

All of our brushes are made from hypoallergenic synthetic fibers, dermatologically tested and gentle enough for sensitive skin, including those prone to irritation or redness. The synthetic fibers are specifically designed to pick up just the right amount of product for a precise, even application every time. The full range is vegan and never tested on animals.

How do you know which brush to use with which product?

As a general rule, denser bristles work best with liquid and cream formulas — the Buffer Glow Brush and Buffer Concealer Brush are both designed for this. The Concealer Brush is suited to more targeted, concentrated application. The Powder Brush, with its large, fluffy angled head, is designed for powder products across a wider area. The Soft Eye Brush is the go-to for eye shadow, applying color in smooth, blendable sweeps across the lid.

Why does Kjaer Weis use synthetic fibers instead of natural bristles?

Synthetic fibers allow for precise control over how much product the brush picks up and deposits, which means more consistent, even application. They are also hypoallergenic, easier to clean, and more durable over time. And unlike natural bristle brushes, which are made from animal hair, our synthetic brushes are fully vegan without any compromise on performance.

Great for foundation and blush

Great for foundation and blush as well as concealer! If you would like a super-minimalist day bag like I do, this brush is the ultimate 'everything' brush. I use it to blend in and buff out foundation that I apply quickly with a larger brush. It is great for both cream and powder eyeshadows. It can apply both without needing to wash or wipe the brush in between as the fibers do not get caked up with cream; it all just blends in wonderfully when using this brush. If I were allowed only one brush in my daybag for everything it would be this one!

This is a super-well-made eye

This is a super-well-made eye brush that can be used to apply foundation around the eye area, cream eyeshadow, an even facial oil in areas that need extra moisture. It is adequately large and thick enough for a variety of applications. The length is perfect to carry with my KW foundation and blending brushes in a short-sized makeup bag for daily on-the-go use as well as traveling.

This type of brush is

This type of brush is very hard to find. I keep it in a realy small brush bag within my daybag. It can do anything: apply foundation, blush, blend anything into powder for a semi-matte look. It can even apply eye balm when using just a tiny corner of the brush. It makes life easier and more beautiful!

Before I order the face powder/bronzer brush, I already own the other face brushes of this brand and I was impressed with the quality. Although I have many brushes, these were my most used and most preferred ones. I have washed them multiple times, the shape is still perfect. The relatively small handle makes them compact and easy for traveling. Absolutely recommended.
