The Red Edition

Our Red Edition cases are hand-crafted from lightweight, luxury paper and can be used 2-3 times before being recycled or composted.

Spilled on your Red Edition product by accident? If it’s at all damaged, don’t worry. The Red Edition is 100% paper, so if your compact becomes saturated with any product or oil, it can be composted rather than recycled.

The Refill

Refilling your compact is simple; just follow these steps:

  • Open up the compact and turn it face down. You will see a small hole below the label.
  • Using a pin, push through the hole until the used makeup cartridge is dislodged.
  • Insert the new makeup into the compact. The refill carton can be recycled, and your Kjaer Weis makeup is now ready for use.

How To Use

For an All-Over Glow: Pick a shade slightly deeper than your own. Apply the cream bronzer with the KW Powder or Blush and Foundation brush. Preferably in daylight or bright light, apply the bronzer with a “soft hand” and minimal product all over the face, building it in a step-by-step process to achieve a natural finish. Make sure to apply on the neck for an “all over glow”.

To Define & Sculpt: Pick a shade 2-3 shades deeper than your own. Sculpt cheekbones and jawline with the KW Blush and Foundation Brush or Buffer Glow Brush. Apply a thin layer under the cheekbones or along the jawline, then gently sculpt and blend the cream bronzer until it is seamlessly blended into the skin with no hard edges.

Kirsten's Tip

Our Cream Bronzer shades work as a beautiful blush/faux tan on light skin tones and as a highlighter on tan-to-deep skin tones.

I like to use a slightly deeper color for contouring versus overall bronzing. The result is noticeable yet invisible to the eye.

Can I apply cream bronzer over foundation, or should I apply it before?

Cream bronzer looks best applied after foundation as one of your finishing touches. Use a shade slightly deeper than your skin tone for an all-over glow, or go two to three shades deeper to sculpt the cheekbones and jawline. Apply cream blush and cream highlighter after bronzer for a seamless, layered finish.
